| MY WEEK YO! what's poppin' home dawg? just chillin' here. Literally, its the day after Valentine's Day, and we got SNOW! S-N-O-W! Well, this is my first xanga thingie, so I don't really know what I'm doing, please don't laugh at me. I know where you live and I know where you sleep. I think. You're lucky if I don't--you may live a little longer, yet NONE WILL SURVIVE MY WRATH! MUAHAHAH! Anywayz, I hope you sleep well tonight knowing I will be coming after you in your nightmares.
This week was really cool. Last weekend, my Alexa went with her friend, Alex Harper, to a cheerleading competition in San Antonio. Monday morning, we were supposed to have Ensemble rehearsal but the school had a blackout. In the evening, Alexa had her award ceremony for her Silver Bowl, which she got for having all A's for her entire time at Central, and I was supposed to go, but it actually started earlier than we thought it would and I had to go with my family to get our church pictures taken, so I didn't get to go.
On Tuesday, we had Wind Ensemble rehearsal at 7:00am because later that evening we were playing at the Trinity Cluster Concerts. That night was really weird, because Trinity had a different schedule than we were given, so wound up not being able to find my band, and then I didn't get to here the Central Symphonic Band play, and then I added a 4/4 measure into my 3/4 solo in Nemu-Susato. Everything turned out well in the end, though, and it was really fun.
On Wednesday, we had a 7:00am Sax Ensemble rehersal with Mr. Wallace, and.... lets just say.... it wasn't pretty. They suck. They can't play their parts and they can't play in an ensemble settings. They've played too many things wrong for too long. everyone in the ensemble was a freshman, yet they aren't very good for freshman, most of our problems were merely in that they aren't very good players. They have a lot of experience, yet that experience does nothing for them, because it only means that they have played wrong longer than the eigth-graders. well, Mr. Wallace thinks that we may have to cancel our playing for contest. Well, that's all well and good, because we changed they're parts and we are doing a crap-load of rehearsing next week. Also, the Symphonic Band Sax Ensemble had to kick out Eric Theuner, so I took his place, and the other saxes sound really good despite being crappy. I think we will do very well. ......Oh, and if you are in my Wind Ensemble Sax Ensemble and you're reading this, its a good reminder for you to get your part down!
I also found out that I was Geometry Who's Who and Mr. HJH on Wednesday! Its so cool! Thank you friends! I love you! If you were wondering why I was all dressed up on Thursday and Friday, I was getting my pictures taken for the yearbook.
On Friday night, I took Alexa to La Bella for Valentine's Day. It was awesome, and she looked so beautiful, just like she always does.
It SNOWed on Saturday! I went out to play football with Patrick and Keith and Jeff and Bowe (for the first time since forever) against my bro, Matt Gilliard, Rachel Wilkes (both his friends) and Craig Haxel---in the SNOW of course! I think I broke my but bone when my bro tackled me once. Ouch.We started out on this field at Spring Garden that was untouched, completely covered in SNOW, but it was all mud when we were done. Near the end, Becca and Pat came, and then the game ended and I had to leave to go celebrate my dad's b-day, which we didn't do and we are doing today. Later, at 4:40, Alexa picked me up and we went to her house to watch "Better Off Dead." After that we went to Nick Smith's b-day party (7:00pm-11:00pm). I got shot with about 1,200 rubber bands, lost a game of 5-way two-person team cut-throat billiards, almost got killed with a plastic dart, and watched "Jeepers Creepers 2".....I don't like scary movies.
In all I think this we is easily summed up: I love you, Alexa weeks! |
